No dragging coolers and luggage upstairs! This 2-bedroom bungalow sits right between the main Keaton Beach canal and the Gulf of Mexico and only 350' from the ramp. Ample parking for truck and trailers. Beautiful views of the sunset from the front porch and a deck out back to enjoy cold drinks after a successful day fishing and scalloping. Partially fenced in back yard. Also includes a screened in cleaning table, lighted16ft. floating dock, Grill, keurig coffee maker, and washer/dryer. House sleeps 6 adults comfortably with a queen bed in both bedrooms plus a Full sofa-bed in the living room. Roku equipped TV in living room and each bedroom has a smart TV. House has WiFi and a camera system so you can watch the dock from inside. In the winter the fire pit makes for a relaxing evening. Built in '63 the house is one of the original Keaton beach bungalows so there are some quirks in a smaller shower and lower door heights but that's part of the charm in our opinion.

Summary: Excellent little place right on the canal. Love the front yard views of the sunset and the ease of access to the boat ramp. Fish cleaning room was excellent. The dock was a lovely spot to sit in the mornings to have coffee. The home itself has everything you’ll need and many things one might forget. We will definitely be returning to this one.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay at Cabin by the Sea. It was just as described; not very large but full of charm and a GREAT location. Our son enjoyed fishing off the back dock as we lounged at the beach up the road. We'd stay there again!

Summary: This the first time renting a house through Vrbo. The home was very comfortable and presented very well. The area was quiet during the week we stayed. The beach area was closeby in easy walking distance.

Summary: We had a great weekend at “The Cabin by the Sea”. Colin was a great host who made us feel welcomed by providing a great cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location on the main canal. He included lots of “extras”, including a stocked coffee bar to get our early morning fishing started, a nice welcome pack, and great communication. We would highly recommend this cabin for a fishing or scalloping trip for a couple of small group of friends.

Summary: Loved this little cabin by the sea! We go to Keaton 3-4 times a year and we have been looking for a place that would be our “go to” a place that fits ALL of our needs…and believe me, we have stayed in several places…but, we finally found it!! This cabin is adorable, it is well equipped with just about everything you need, it was very clean and Colin was so helpful and patient . The day we returned home, we booked for the next month.
